Visit Jumping cat monastery with us!

Nga Hpe is a wooken monastery, which was built on stilts on Inle Lake, Myanmar just north of Ywama. The monastery is famous for its cats, that were trained by the monks to jump through small hoops.

It is possible to visit the monastery during a boat tour on Inle Lake for the cats' jumping performance, which is now held by a woman instead by the monks several times a day.
